PrestoNotes 4.7.3 - Free Download

PrestoNotes is a freeware for Windows 9x/2000/NT/XP. It allows you to write little memo's and stick them on your screen. Each note may be entirely personnalized : background and text colour, transparence, character font, image, title, scroll bar, position and size, visible or hidden, displayed on top of other windows or not, possibility to open or save in an external file (.txt).

Each note have an entirely customized alarm setting : single events or recurrent events (yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, hourly), with an option to precise the exact time, and an option to get a warning signal before the event really takes place. When the alarm sets off, one or more actions can be done : display the note, play a sound of your choice, start a program or document of your choice, randomly change the wallpaper or screensaver of Windows, shut down the computer.

The notes can quickly and easily be reached through the control panel, or through a simple context menu sitting in the Windows taskbar.
Other functions include : Send and receive notes via the network, Search notes by keyword, WYSIWYG print, opening of web addresses into your internet browser, multilingual support, and last, there is a function to be warned when an email comes to your provider.

Detailed and illustrated help notes are included in the program. Other features such as auto-save, auto-refresh, auto-roll, auto-dim make PrestoNotes one of the best post-it-like freeware.
